Of Thee, I Zing: America’s Cultural Decline from Muffin Tops to Body Shots~Laura Ingraham

Now here’s a book I can not only laugh out loud with but also give a great big “Amen sister!” to.  With chapter titles like ‘Missed Manners’, ‘Popped Culture’ and ‘Eat, Pray…Just Keep God Out of It’, you know she’ll hit a nerve with almost everyone who reads it. Good, bad or indifferent, she makes no apologies about her feelings on a wide variety of topics that run the gamut from our lack of manners and overuse of social networking to the random way we dress (“…like homeless prostitutes and derelict drug addicts”). She even goes so far as to make a blanket statement that “We’re going to hell in  handbasket (and the handbasket was made in China).”

One day, I sincerely hope I have a chance to meet Laura Ingraham because when I do, I’ll simply convey how I feel about this book…A-MEN !!
